Tremend, the most dynamic Romanian company in the Deloitte 2016 Fast 50 ranking, forecasts an increase in the number of advanced software solutions delivered. In order to support the growth, the company is launching a recruiting and training program for over 40 software engineers to join the development center in Bucharest.
Integrating innovative technologies within solutions that will be delivered this year is a strong differentiator for the Romanian and international clients of the company, which hold approximately equal percentages in Tremend’s turnover:
“This year we’ll continue to deliver added-value to our clients from Romania, US, UK or the Scandinavian countries, by incorporating new technologies into the solutions we develop: IoT, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Machine Learning, Microservices. By leveraging these cutting-edge technologies within our solutions, we offer our customers a powerful tool to innovate, to create strong differentiators and to compete globally, not just locally or regionally, ” said Marius Hanganu, Managing Partner Tremend.
The increase forecasted by Tremend is based on both the consolidation of existing accounts and the expansion of the client portfolio.
“In 2016 we had a balanced growth. We expanded our portfolio and five new companies entered among the top 10 largest clients, including one of the largest hypermarket chains in the world. Furthermore, we consolidated sales to existing clients. Five of the current clients continue to rank among our largest 10 customers: Wind River, Orange, ING, Coats si WorthPoint,“ said Ioan Cocan, Managing Partner Tremend.
This year’s team expansion will coincide with the company’s moving to a new building, the opening of a new regional center outside Bucharest, and the launch of Tremend Labs – an idea incubator where software engineers will test various technologies to build prototypes and new products.
In 2016, Tremend reported a turnover increase to 3.5 million Euro, by delivering enterprise, embedded, eCommerce, and mobile solutions, as well as services that ensure a high degree of efficiency to the company’s solutions: business analysis, QA automation, and training.
Last year, after achieving a 399% turnover growth between 2012 and 2016, Tremend joined the most dynamic technology suppliers in the region, in Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Central Europe. Tremend ranked 37th in the Fast 50 category, the highest position held by a Romanian company. Deloitte Technology Fast 50 gathers technology companies that contribute, by innovation, to the development of the entire industry.
