The Imagin’IT consortium, of which Tremend Benelux SA is a member, was awarded a ranking in the cascade for all 3 lots of the DIGIT-TM II FWC, a program released by the European Commission under the guidance of the Directorate-General for Informatics.
The DIGIT-TM II FWC is the successor of DIGIT-TM, a 1.8 billion Euro contract from the European Commission for IT services across Europe. This framework that has already been implemented is now being used by numerous European-based agencies, including the Consumers, Health, Agriculture and Food Executive Agency (CHAFEA), European Research Council Executive Agency (ERCEA), and Innovation and Networks Executive Agency (INEA) and the European Commission (EC).
The DIGIT-TM II FWC project will spread over a period of 4 years and has a total value of 2.8 billion euros, almost 1.5 times more than the original project. The contracting authority’s premises are located in Belgium, Luxembourg, Italy, Spain, The Netherlands, Ireland, and Germany. The DIGIT-TM II FWC intends to subcontract around 2.500 IT professionals during its 4 years of duration.
This project’s scope includes the provision of external services for development, consultancy, and supporting the field of information systems, covering a wide range of activities such as development, support, testing and quality assurance, operations, data management, and security.
DG Informatics (DIGIT) split the DIGIT-TM II framework contract into three lots according to the degree of specialization of the services concerned. The lots that are part of this project are:
- Lot 1: Standard external consultancy services in the field of information
- Lot 2: Specialized external consultancy services in the field of information
- Lot 3: Expert external consultancy services in the field of information
