The University in Bucharest and the Coalition Skills 4IT Romania launched the Romanian version of the Digital Skills and Jobs platform (DSJP)available across Europe. The portal is funded by the European Commission and is using the same Core platform Tremend developed for the European Commission. The aim of DSJP is to grow to support larger communities reflecting the new priorities of relevant EU programs, especially the Digital Europe Programme.
This modern platform offers a wide array of training opportunities to any Romanian citizen, from students and beginners to experts, employees, and entrepreneurs, who want to expand their digital skills. On the platform, citizens are empowered to find relevant training opportunities, reskill and upskill their digital competencies, and stay up to date with the latest best practices in the regional competencies area.
Some of the topics inside the platform include startup accelerators, IT, education, economy, software development, HR, Erasmus+, migration, requalification, ML, universities, and cybernetic security. On the platform, visitors can also find a wide variety of financing options/grants and uncover the latest strategies regarding the promotion of digital education.
As part of the consortium that has created the main platform for the European Commission, Tremend had a key role to play in this project, setting up the core infrastructure, back-end, and front-end, plus other key processes on the CRM. Local experts estimate that the Digital Skills and Jobs Platform Romania will be tied to the Core platform by the end of 2023 and will gain more of the perks and features of the mother website.
As a key partner of the consortium that has brought this platform to life, Tremend prides itself on the technical team that has successfully delivered DSJP. This engaging technical challenge involved setting up a complex architecture, using multiple APIs and integrations, and leveraging a mix of innovative, emerging technologies.
