The consortium led by Tremend Benelux SA, which includes leading companies such as Cegeka, was awarded 1st place in cascade in the framework contract BEACON, lot 2 for Benchmarking, Advisory, and Consultancy Services in Information and Communication Technology.
The maximum volume of lot 2 is 341 million EUR, over a maximum duration of 4 years. The actual value will depend on the exact quantities ordered as part of the framework contract. The implementation process will follow the cascade model for orders under 100,000 EUR and with the reopening of the competition above.
The offer submitted by the consortium was ranked 1st in cascade, with a total of no less than 20 proposals submitted, which included bids from industry-leading companies and all major international consultancy organizations.

The contract was signed with the Directorate-General for Informatics DG DIGIT and will be used by the entire European Commission as well as 60 other European organizations and agencies.
The object of the contract is the provision of consultancy services, including studies and prototyping, in Information and Communication Technology. It consists of providing customized and individual, non-standard information for high-level technical and strategic issues in ICT. This includes areas such as ICT governance, management, and capacity building; studies regarding European digital public services, new innovative technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, blockchain or IoT, Trans-European interoperability and e-government services, User Experience (UX) and Behavioral Sciences, Data Management, Semantics, and Analytics.
