Tremend Benelux, the reputable European software development company, participates in the contract for the Circular Cities and Regions Initiative’s Coordination and Support Office – CCRI-CSO. The project is an initiative of the European Commission to expand circularity beyond traditional resource recovery in waste and water sectors and make circular solutions more sustainable, inclusive, and regenerative. It aims to implement circular solutions at a local and regional scale and help deliver on the European Green Deal and the EU bioeconomy strategy.
The consortium is led by Ecorys, and also includes Prognos, Tecnalia, the Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT), EGEN, the Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR), the Association of Cities and Regions for sustainable Resource management (ACR+), the European Environmental Bureau (EEB), the European Regions Research and Innovation Network (ERRIN).
Tremend Benelux SA is the technology partner in this project, responsible for creating the digital tools and infrastructure, including mechanisms to promote cooperation, enhance coordination and improve synergies among the consortium partners.
