As an Enterprise Architect, your expertise will be pivotal in transforming organizational strategy into technological reality. Collaborating closely with various teams and departments, your role will guide the development and implementation of holistic IT architectures that are robust, scalable, and agile.
Responsibilities:
- Enterprise Strategy: Design and deliver enterprise-level architectural blueprints that cater to both current and future business needs. Ensure that the overarching IT strategy effectively serves the organization's strategic goals.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with senior management, IT leaders, and other stakeholders to ascertain and address business requirements. Act as a trusted advisor, advocating for strategic IT investments.
- Technology Selection: Assess and recommend technologies, platforms, and services that align with the organization's objectives, scalability needs, and financial constraints.
- Governance & Standards: Develop, establish, and maintain architectural standards, ensuring uniformity and adherence throughout the organization's IT initiatives.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to enterprise architecture and propose mitigation strategies. Ensure that all architectural decisions take security, compliance, and disaster recovery into consideration.
- Architecture Review: Periodically review and update existing architecture to ensure that it accommodates changing business needs, technological advances, and emerging trends.
- Collaboration: Work in tandem with solution architects, developers, and IT operations teams to facilitate the smooth transition from strategy to execution.
- Change Management: Champion architectural evolution by spearheading change management initiatives. Oversee the introduction of new technologies and methodologies.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation related to enterprise architecture, ensuring clarity and easy reference for all stakeholders.
- Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or in a similar leadership role in IT.
- Strong understanding of business processes, IT resources, and their strategic application.
- Expertise in enterprise architecture methodologies such as TOGAF, ArchiMate, or equivalent.
- Experience in designing and implementing large-scale IT infrastructures, including cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with IT governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and forward-thinking approach.
- Superior communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to translate complex technical language into understandable business terms.
