QA Automation Engineer - Banking Sector

Tremend is looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our team of bright thinkers and doers. You’ll use your problem-solving creativity to figure out our client’s most complex and challenging problems across different industries. We are on a mission to transform the world, and you will be instrumental in shaping how we do it with your ideas, thoughts, and solutions.


Your Impact:

• Review and analyze user stories, acceptance criteria and develop effective test plans
• Implement and maintain automated tests in collaboration with the development team; 
• Mentor Scrum team colleagues on quality objectives and testing process
• Act as a key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, including resource coordination and delivery management 

Your Skills & Experience:

• Degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Test analysis skills (ideally ISTQB qualification)
• Automated tests frameworks using Javascript/Typescript (preferable Cypress or willingness to learn Cypress)  
• API and web services knowledge (REST architecture, Postman)
• Relational and non-relational databases knowledge (MSSQL, CosmosDB)
• Practical experience in Agile frameworks (Scrum) and tools (Jira)
• Well organized – able to plan own work and track progress against a plan
• Methodical worker, high attention to detail and tenacious problem solver
• Strong communicator, both written & oral. Able to explain technical issues and solutions to peers
• Willing to join the team for various face-to-face meeting at the dedicated office to hold certain ceremonies or activities (1-2 days / week)

Set Yourself Apart With:

• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and the corresponding tools like Git, Jenkins
• Experience as a QA Lead 
• Experience as a release / delivery manager
