This is how your day-to-day will go:
  • Create and configure test plans
  • Perform Structural Testing, Functional Testing, Non-functional tests
  • Create API test scenarios and execute them
  • Create or edit database information to use as test data
  • Develop test plans.
  • Provide defect and test reports based on agreed methodology 
  • Stored procedure testing
  • Maintain the database test automation library; update/create tests.
  • Ability to translate functional and data requirements into SQL and write procedures and functions to test complicated data interfaces
 
Do you know how to play with these things? (don’t worry if you haven’t experienced all of them, none of us did)
  • Approach complex problem-solving and troubleshooting tasks with creativity.
  • Hands on experience testing GraphQL applications
  • Experience with MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle or other
  • SQL main crud statements, JOINs, conditional statements
  • API knowledge, REST and SOAP 
  • Fluency in English.
  • Good communication abilities.
 
Nice to have:
  • Basic skills in OOP coding (ex. Java).
  • Nice to have experience with open source tools such as Selenium, Jenkins or Maven.
  • Basic experience with build infrastructure, continuous integration and agile development.
