QA Engineering Manager

Tremend is looking for a QA Engineering Manager to join our team of bright thinkers and doers, and be responsible for managing the technical team, including new team member hiring, team allocation, coaching, performance management, and team risks mitigation. You’ll use your problem-solving creativity to figure out our client’s most complex and challenging problems across different industries. We are on a mission to transform the world, and you will be instrumental in shaping how we do it with your ideas, thoughts, and solutions.
Your Impact:
- Organizing teams of engineers (~25 engineers)
- Managing team member allocations on projects
- Delivering solutions or projects in line with the company's values and business objectives
- Recruitment for new department team members
- Onboarding new-comers
- Career development for department engineers: learning programs, presentations, training, and coaching programs
- Technical supervision of projects
- Pre-sale tasks for project leads
- Propose improvements and implement best practices related to the SDLC
- Develop and implement policies, standards, and procedures for the engineering and technical work performed in the department
Your Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 7 years of experience
- At least 2 years of Department Management/ Team Leadership/ People Management
- Strong technical background
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance processes
- Knowledge of Agile Methodology
- Understanding of Shift-left testing approach
- Strong Automation skills with a code-based solution
- Excellent soft skills and people management skills
- ISTQB or ITIL Certifications appreciated
